The Charity for Change curriculum integrates character education, service learning, math and language arts.

The Program is a rigorous, educator-facilitated curriculum, serving elementary school-aged students in afterschool, summer and in-school settings for both face-to-face and virtual learning environments.

The scientifically proven elements of the Charity for Change program bring character education, STEAM, and service learning to life with comprehensive approaches that include:

  • Research and vote on a charity to support;

The GiverTV interactive video series expands the Charity for Change program to reach students beyond the classroom. Moreover, these 10-minute videos feature the program’s mascots, Giver and U2Can, and the program’s founder, Charity Karen. Together, they teach character education and service learning.
Additionally, episodes include real-world examples of key character traits and activities families can do together to help their community. The format includes appearances by community leaders such as Florida Senator Kathleen Passidomo, charitable crafts with Safari Suzanne, and other online activities. The Charity for Change Program is a supplemental curriculum created by experts to support academic achievement through its math and language arts curriculum, while the charity and character components build resiliency and critial life skills.
