Charity for Change Receives $15,000 Grant from the Lal Gaynor Early Education & Beyond Fund

The grant supports the continuing development of curriculum that empowers children to achieve their full potential

Charity for Change has received a $15,000 grant from the Lal Gaynor Early Education & Beyond Fund at the Collier Community Foundation to support the continuing development of their curriculum for elementary school-age children. The program empowers children to achieve their full potential through character education, charitable involvement, academics, and parental and community engagement.

“We are grateful to the Lal Gaynor Early Education & Beyond Fund for supporting us in building a foundation of character, generosity and gratitude in our next generation. Through our curriculum, students become more resilient, build strong life-skill competencies and improve academic performance,” said Karen Conley, founder and CEO for Charity for Change.

The Charity for Change program engages students in their community through charitable activities and teaches them to practice nine character traits, including citizenship, perseverance, kindness, self-control, tolerance, responsibility, integrity, cooperation and respect.
